1. How does the Expert Marketplace Work?
Our state-of-the-art technology matches customers' expert service requests with background checked and fully vetted local experts. Orders are automatically routed to and fulfilled by an expert who is able to view all of your contact information in a mobile app.
2. How are services priced?
The price you see advertised online is the price you pay...these are not estimates but a fixed-price quote for services. Some limitations apply (such as product not matching what's in the service order), but those can be reviewed in our terms and conditions section.
3. How does billing work?
Your credit card will be authorized for the full price of the service at check-out if the CONFIRM NOW option is select. If the CONFIRM LATER option is chosen, you will be given 48hrs to provide a valid credit card to authorize. All charges are applied to the credit card on file at the completion and acceptance of the service.
4. Is service available in my area?
We operate in most major metropolitan markets. Please check coverage areas to see if we service your coverage area.
5. Who are the providers participating in the marketplace?
Expert Marketplace only partners with established providers with a proven track record of performance and reliability. Please see the Service Providers page for more details.
6. Have the on-site experts been fully vetted?
Yes. We require full background checks and ensure that whoever is sent to your home or office is skilled in the service to be performed.
7. How will my order be scheduled?
Once your order has been assigned to a Provider, you will be contacted to schedule your appointment.
8. Who do I contact if I have questions about an order?
Once the local expert has received your order, all future contact about the service will be between you and the expert directly. You will be provided with a contact number to reach them in the event you have any questions, comments or concerns once the appointment has been confirmed.
9. What are the hours of operation?
Monday-Saturday, 7am to 8pm. The service is not available on Sundays.
10. Is the service guaranteed?
We guarantee you will be satisfied with the service or someone will return and fix the problem.
11. Can I make changes to my appointment?
Absolutely. However, there are limitations regarding cancellations.
